I’ve been playing piano for over 50 years and was fortunate to study in Aberdeen with the much respected Gina Dallas Harper and Donald Hawksworth. More recently I’ve had the privilege to work with Nigel Clayton, Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music in London.

I am a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music in piano teaching and hold a Diploma in piano performance with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.  I am also closely involved with the North East of Scotland Music School based in Aberdeen where I sit on the Council of Management. I was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the School in November 2015. Alongside tuition, I perform regularly in Dundee and Aberdeen and enjoy a repertoire of works ranging from Bach through to the 20th century, with an emphasis on the classical and romantic eras.
